Dec 30th - Snowing at last

A mild steady snowfall for hours, but still just a dusting.
Scenic, and good, walk in the falling snow, fun.
No snowballs yet, maybe tomorrow.
Fun for the juncos too.
Or every day, any day, another day
is fun for a junco.

Dec 25th - Playing with toys

Ohhhh the holidays.
Taking a large red robot for a walk.
And then it got lost.
But we did find it before dark.
Sort of a tiny tim moment.

Dec 24th - No snow, no ice

Hmmmmm. Christmas tomorrow and no snow.
Not even ice. Nor snow dust, nor frost.
Anyway, every now & then a little sun too.
Warm. Almost fuzzy. But not seasonal.

Dec 20th -Last of the Dark Driving

Enjoying the dark driving out amongst the holiday lights.
This ends the trilogy, and definitely the last one for this year.
You may not have realized it was a trilogy.
(wow, able to use 'amongst' and ' trilogy' in sequential sentences!)

If only it was snowing, the color pick-up would be so much better.
And the snow would be more fun.

Dec 12th - Dark Driving Part 2

Liked it so much the first time, had to do it again.
In the opposite direction. And also some by the lake.
Well at least near the lake, or the 'lake's right down there....'

Still watching out for night critters in the road.
Especially deer. It's starting to rain. That'll be rain-deer.
'Tis the season still.

Dec 10th - Snow Dust.....

Almost doesn't count, but at last a trace of snow.
A little snow covering that stays two days.
Time for a quick, quiet walk into the woods.
The tracks show I'm not the first, but maybe in the top 15.
Sun shadows on the snow.
Ahhh. it's a start. More to follow, certainly.

Dec 5th - Dark Driving

Nothing like driving around in the dark looking at holiday lights.
OK, maybe there's a lot of other more important things to do,
but you still have to get there from wherever you are,
so you look along the way.

And watch our for deer, little dogs
and other assorted animals in the road.
'Tis the season for all that.

Dec 4th -- Still no snow

Supposed to be winter.
Sitting by the lake shouldn't be like spring.
Oh, maybe this is the snow coming!!!
Or maybe not.
Soon.
Just not yet.

Dec 3rd - No Snow

Now it's December and no snow yet.
Hmmmmm.
In northern New England, up near the mountains.
In the woods, almost spring like in December.

Hurry up snow.
