Chipper...........

There she sat, Just staring back,
with a look like 'what are you doing here?'
A long look. And I got closer.
Looked her right in the eyes.
Okay, maybe just one eye.
Watch the film, look into her eye, see the filmographer.
Hypnotized, almost. Then she ran underfoot.

Spring, just before.....

Flying by, but not too quickly
Time to take in the scene,
The season's start,
Time to ignore, to just soar
Overhead.
A moment here, then gone.
Leaves are coming, soon

RED Boat returns

After a heavy rain, and some local flooding, it's
sailing weather again. Time to dig out last year's
red boat, add some new paint, and try the waters again.

Can't get too far, not enough of a breeze, not much sail.
Still brings back those high seas adventure memories.
Or at least, passes the time before the tractor returns.
Don't ask. There's a lot more loading to get done.

Freeze, Turkey.....

Not often does one get the chance to
actually say 'freeze, turkey' and mean it.
That is, telling a real turkey to freeze ---
Well the opportunity presented itself
and we took the chance. Now the film's
awfully short, only a minute. And we
employed the Stonecat Group to
give us some background noise, (they
needed the practice.....a lot of it)

Treetop TOYS

Ahhh, almost far enough into the woods
to be away from the non-forested when
this fun-thing came zipping over the treetops.
Interesting for few moments, noisy, yet
attractive in a "gee, can we get a ride too??" way.

But that wasn't to be. An early blackfly, perhaps.

Spring LUV, snow fog

The sounds are there, but spring's under snow.
Still the new season's love-life soars about,
their songs fill the trees, run thru the sky....
This cardinal started off quiet, then crescendo'd...
And a companion arrived. An admirer who couldn't
take her eyes off him. At least that's what it looked like
from a distance. Spring.....melting winter fun.

Looking for LUV, turkey - part 2

When the crowd's moving by fast,
It's takes all a guy's got to make any impact.
This turkey's trying hard, running to keep up,
And 'shouting' for some attention.
"Heh, look at me....I'm working here!!!!"
A real life race. The clock's ticking.
And luckily no other traffic was in the road.
