Afternoon, hazy, warm, summer, with sails full.
Fun on the water, not misbehaving too badly.
Places to go, people to leave behind.
Wind almost at your back, almost just right. Close.
Fun enough for this day.

Afternoon at sea blues.....

It felt like a Sunday afternoon, tho
no one was sure what day it really was.
Moody, bluesy, something had been lost.
The wind still filled the sails.
The boat moved slowly across the lake.
She's bound to return soon.

Running summer, uphill

Into the woods we run.
Slowly uphill, in the summer sun.
Unintentional rhyme.
